STEAM Expo 2018
The REACH Foundation of Rockland is thrilled to present their third annual STEAM Expo on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Free admission for all visitors.
Last year, over 2,000 visitors and exhibitors came together to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. With demonstrations such as digital artwork, an escape room, and engineering projects, students and teachers representing all grade levels of Suffern Central showcased how STEAM is being interpreted in all seven of our schools. Also attending the event were community members, organizations, businesses and corporate entities who came to highlight how STEAM education is preparing our children for tomorrow’s innovation.
This year is expected to be even bigger! On Saturday, March 3, 2018, in addition to interactive exhibits available to all ages, Mario the Magician will perform his STEAM- related magic act. Also not to be missed, Suffern High School’s Robotics Team will provide some hands on engineering opportunities and demonstrate why they’ve participated in the First Robotics World Championship for the past two years.
